I have just finsihed building two Nelson Pass Aleph 5 mono 60 Watt Class A amplifiers, and I am very pleased with them. You can find much more information on Nelson Pass's website. Below you can see some pictures of my design (click on the picture to enlarge it):

One complete mono amplifier PCB, with powersupply and terminals for the power Mos Fet's. Remeber to match the Mos Fet's, here is an article describing how to do it: Matching Mos Fet's PCB file updated 2004.04.06.
I have built an electronic "hourglass" in each amplifier (designed by my brother), showing operations and runtime. Pcb fileupdated 2005.01.12
The electronic "hourglass" in action (software version 04, 16 on/off operations and 11 hours and 36 minuttes total runtime).
The front of one mono Aleph 5.
One complete mono Aleph 5 amplifier. The six heatsinks have 0.8 °C/W in thermal resistance and the amplifier is approx. 30°C above ambient without forced cooling.
