I built my Nelson Pass A40 version in 2002, and I am very pleased with it. You can find much more information on Nelson Pass's DIY website under legacy amplifier projects (the design is actually from 1978!). Below you can see some pictures of my design (click on the picture to enlarge it):

The 8 output transistors are mounted on 8 independent heatsink. My heatsinks (1 K/W) are a little bit to small, so I have to use forced cooling!
